There’s ALWAYS something fun to do at the Hunting & Fishing Heritage Centre:
Take a Tour!
Have one of our knowledgeable staff guide you through the various features that make the HFHC unique.
You’ll start with our Ontario Record Fish wall where, you’ll learn about the angling opportunities that our great province has to offer, before heading into our rustic trapper’s cabin. Here you’ll find an array of antique decoys and fishing lures, hands-on pelt table, along with a strong sense of our shared outdoor heritage. After learning about the ways we protect nature against poaching and the spread of invasive species, you will visit some of Canada’s most distinct habitats including the Ontario Mixedwood Plains, the Canadian Shield, the West Coast, and finally the Tundra and High Arctic, before arriving at our Get Outdoors Classroom, where your guide will be happy to answer any questions.
